Santa’s Grotto at Polhill
These sessions are exclusively for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Step inside Santa’s Magical Grotto, where the session's group will gather for a festive story or song with Santa before sharing their Christmas wishes. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture the moment and every child will receive a special present to take home.
Our SEN Santa's Grotto Sessions have been specially designed children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in mind who may benefit from a quieter, more relaxed Christmas experience.
These sessions feature:
- Reduced capacity with just 6 children per session
- Early morning times before the garden centre becomes busy
- Reduced lighting and sound
- A pre-visit walkthrough video for families
- Alternative entrance routes if requested
- Specially briefed elves who understand that every child is different
During the session, children will enjoy a festive story or song with Santa, share their Christmas wishes and receive a special present to take home. A professional photographer will also be available to capture the magical moment, with photos available to purchase on the day.
Important Booking Information
To ensure these quieter sessions remain available for the families who need them, we kindly ask that bookings are only made if your child would benefit from the additional adjustments and support provided.
Sessions are limited to 6 children with a maximum of 2 adults per child.
Booking is available online only so don’t miss out on creating special memories with your loved ones.
Please make sure you create an account when purchasing to manage your booking and change dates/times if required, please be aware limitations and an administration fee may apply. Changes must be done at least 72 hours before the event. Please note this is a 'DigiTickets' account and not your Polhill Plus account.
